 bolero for a baby

I am sure that this pattern isn't news to anyone here, but the baby bolero in Leigh Radford's One Skein is super quick and super cute! I knit it up over the weekend for a friend due next month and the mom loved it!

Beautiful! I've been eyeing this pattern for a while, considering making it. Now I know I've gotta try it :-)

Very cute, indeed! What yarn did you use, and how much (silly question, I know... but one skein patterns don't always use just one, ya know?!?)

I should have left more information. I used 2 skeins of Luxury Cashmere Aran from A.C. Moore (it's a DB Cashmerino knock-off). I used about the same yardage (150 yards) as the prescribed one skein of Blue Sky Organic Cotton in the book.

Very cute! Knitting for girls is so much easier than boys, IMO.

So bummed I just found this blog, I had my baby 4 months ago and would have loved to have some other expecting mommies to knit with.

Congrats to all of you on recent and impending births!

I love the baby bolero, I started it the other day but ran out of my half-skein :(
