 First finished baby item

I've never been a bootie fan, they're just too froo-froo for me. But the socks, they're just mini's and they are just way too cute! And damn quick too. They're so easy and quick, I even weaved in my stray ends!

So here they are, all alone, and sitting on the feet of my pregnant teddy bear at my desk:

Aren't they adorable!

Adorable! I don't like booties either, but these socks are great. What pattern did you use?

I agree. I can't keep booties on my son's feet but knitted socks stay put and take up left over sock balls. They're cute!

They are so lovely! My 9 month old needs a pair - can you share the pattern?

I used Wendy's Generic sock pattern (it's linked in my actual blog if you need it, just click on my name in my post to get there). Using knitpicks yarn, I cast on for a final stitch count of 32 (i.e. I started with 16 stitches cast on). Her pattern is great because you can adjust the size based on your gauge and the foot size.
