 It's a Jungle out there

Randle, The Giraffe

Here is the lastest in a line of little fiber animals for the babies in my life. Randle, the Giraffe, is made from 100% cotton yarn, and was a real joy to make - and pretty cute to hold to. I'm smitten with his horns!

More on my blog, here.

So cute! I wish I could crochet like that. Would you say that it's easier crocheting a little stuffed animal than knitting one? I suspect that it is (except I can't crochet anywhere near as well as I can knit!).

I think it is much easier to crochet than knit little animals. I have knit several bunnies from Debbie Bliss - I love the pattern, but I was shocked at how much more straight-forward and fitted the crochet is. I didn't crochet at all before I began doing these animals about three months ago - even without my friends to help me, I picked it up quickly - the knitting sets you up for it! Let me know if I can help... don't know how to help via internet, really, but, you know!
