 Lacy Bonnet

I made this second Lacy Bonnet from Erika Knight's Knitting for Two awhile ago, but only put the bows on this morning. Should have done this weeks ago, as my little Cashew has almost grown out of it already!

8 weeks old and smiling! Must be the hat...

A charming hat and pattern. If I did it again I would try to make the hat bigger and place the bows more forward.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

ahh! I forgot about this hat! I saw this very hat in that book and it was the ONE that inspired me to learn how to knit. I'm still a pretty beginner knitter and have a baby boy so I hadn't thought about this hat for awhile. I copied the pattern down though and I think I need to go dig it out now. : )

Oh, that hat is so cute! I laughed when I saw you call her your little cashew. I could never explain to my kid why I used to call her peanut. Beautiful knitting!

Your daughter is so beautiful! The pictures are just darling. And the hat looks like it was fun to make and even more fun to show off on your sweet little baby :) I'm going to have to get that pattern and make that one as a gift for all the girl babies I know. Thanks for the inspiration!
